What type of event does it suit?

Company team building. The venue can be a hotel or company office. The occasion a sales conference, meeting or training session. Slot-racing is the perfect way to team build and lift spirits after the serious stuff.

Award dinners and parties provide another excellent opportunity for slot-racing fun.

The annual company fun day is for the whole family to enjoy. A daytime function with entertainment running inside and outside. Barbecue, bouncy castle, fairground stalls all good. Model slot-car racing fits in well.

The Christmas party. Dinner, Disco, Fun casino and Scalextric are almost standard now.

Promotional Work. Examples are; making an exhibition stand more interesting and lively. A Company selling cardboard used us once with great results. Car showrooms frequently have special promotions, which need suitable entertainment. Commercial letting promotions; Empty commercial properties can be given that extra push by holding a fun event while showing off the facility at the same time.

Wedding parties, Barmitzvah and other private parties. This is an ideal occasion. Makes a change from the food and disco format. I have not met an over 60 that claims to enjoy loud music. Obviously some guests will want a Disco, so run the slot-racing first.

Charity Ball and Fund raising events. We mostly work on a fixed fee basis. Organisers can recover costs using pay to play to return break even or profit. Predicting if and the amount of profit is difficult because it depends on so many factors. If guests have paid a high-ticket price followed by a raffle, charity auction, inflated drink prices etc the mood to get their wallet out may have passed. In which case the slot track will remain unused and return a loss. In these cases it is better to include the slot-racing costs in the ticket price and let people enjoy the event without additional cost.
We are always happy to give advice, just ask.

Club Social function. (Cricket, Rugby, Golf etc) Organiser sells tickets to cover the cost of the entertainment, food etc.
